The Ducati Hypermotard is “the most extreme, mountain conquering, urban assault machine ever”. You can be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime unveiling on Saturday at 12:00 noon at SLMS. Barebeque lunch and drinks will follow, accompanied by giveaways and prizes at 1:00 pm. You’ll even be able to hop on the famed Hypermotard for a free demo ride! Demos will run between 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and sign ups will begin at 12:00 noon.
The Ducati Hotties will be modeling the latest Ducati apparel, and you’ll receive 10% off on all apparel, racing suits, boots, gloves and helmets. One day only!!! Get there in time for the big launch and demo sign-ups at 12:00 noon! *Valid motorcycle permit required for demo rides.
Salt Lake Motorsports welcomes the biggest name in U.S. motorcycle road racing to town this weekend! The AMA Superbike Championship will be at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele June 22-24. Superbikes are highly modified versions of motorcycles originally sold for street use. Each year the AMA pushes the boundaries of rider talent and motorcycle technology, power and handling.
Event highlights include $10 parade laps for Ducati motorcycles and the “Magic of Miller” Celebrity Race where Utah Governor John Huntsman will race! Ducati and Salt Lake Motorsports will have hospitality and shopping tents on Saturday and Sunday. So stop in, have a drink, get some shade and meet the Ducati Hotties! The Ducati Cafe was full of excitement on Sunday and the crew at Salt Lake Motorsports would like to thank everyone for riding by to watch the MotoGP Season opener! A couple dozen visitors dropped in to watch a blistering race, share cups of coffee and drool over new and old Ducatis parked out front. 21 year old Ducati Marlboro team member Casey Stoner took first in the heart pounding race. Thanks to all who came, and mark your calendars for the second round of the MotoGP season on March 25th… the 250cc race starts at 5 p.m. and the World Championship round starts at 6 p.m. All race viewing schedules may be found here.
