Matt Spencer’s Triple Win Weekend!

Masters of the MountainsMatt Spencer is well-known as one of the best Ducati service technicians in the West, but he’s also an accomplished, race-winning rider. Last weekend Matt rode his Ducati SuperSport 1000 to victory—three times. Miller Motorsports Park was the host to two racing associations this weekend, the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) and the Plaza Cycle Masters of the Mountains (MOM). Despite delays due to winter-like weather, Matt took first in the AHRMA Battle of the Twins Formula 2 and 3 and the MOM GTO Twins. Congratulations, Matt!

Gary Eagan Takes to the (Canadian) Highway

Gary Eagan on Trans-Canadian RideOur very own Gary Eagan is at it again. On Monday, September 10th he attempted a ride across Canada—from Vancouver, BC to Halifax, NS—in under 60 hours. Gary left before 3:00 AM, arriving in Halifax in 51 hours and 4 minutes. Some are calling it a world record, but Eagan, a long-time distance rider and world record holder, says it was not. “There are people out there who have done it faster,” says Eagan, who was really there for the thrill of the ride and to test the new Ducati Multistrada 1100S

“The bike absolutely held up better than I did…the new ’strada is a really sweet ride”. Among the things Gary endured, there were severely blistered knuckles and a run-in with an Ontario cop who took his radar detector. Welcome back to reality, Gary. And Congratulations! (One Wheel Drive)
