Turpin Finishes Flawlessly, Breaks Record!

The Motorcycle Roadracing Association came to Utah for race numbers 3 and 4
on July 8th and 9th. The local favorite, Shane Turpin came out flawlessly,
placing first in 12 events throughout both days! Shane ruled the track in
Open Supersport, Open Superbike (breaking the Miller Track Record on the West Track), Middleweight Supersport, Middleweight
Superbike, Race of the Rockies GTU, and Race of the Rockies GTO. Way to go
Shane!
Almost halfway through the season of defending his 2005 MRA plate, here are
Shane’s point standings:
- Open Supersport: #1 with 136 points
- Open Superbike: #1 with 144 points
- Middleweight Supersport: #1 with 144 points
- Middleweight Superbike: #1 with 144 points
- Race of the Rockies GTU: #1 with 144 points
