Hi,
I have a 1980 Honda CM 400 E that my grandpa recently gave me. It hasn't been ridden in years, but I have been riding it around the neighborhood a little and it seems to run just fine. it has less than 4000 miles on it.
It looks like it needs new tires, and one of the front blinker caps is broken. I need a reccomendation of where to take it for those items, plus an inspection so I can get it registered. I called Honda Suzuki of Salt Lake and they said they could do the tires, but kinda hinted that they don't service older bikes.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Matt,
I'm afraid that your Honda is too old for our service department as well. The only thing I can suggest is going to a Honda dealer, which it sounds like you've tried. Maybe they'd rather not service the older models, but you have to go somewhere, right? Anybody else have suggestions?
Good luck..

Matt,
Just got some more information. I'm told that Plaza Cycle has been known to service older bikes. Give them a try. You can find their website here: www.plazacycle.com

Hey. I just picked up an 82 cm450c. Probably pretty close to what you got. I've been getting all my replacement parts on ebay. Alot of the honda bikes have parts that work for different models and years. Good luck with the bike.
