The racing world was stunned on Sunday April 23, 1972 when Britain's Paul Smart won the first Imola 200, Europe's answer to America's Daytona 200 Classic. The Desmodromic version of the 750 V-twin made its racing debut at Imola that year, scoring Smart a then-record purse of $4,500. Smart still owns this famous bike and it is on loan to the Ducati museum in Bologna.
You can relive this amazing event from motorcycle history each time you wear the Smart at Imola shirt. On a soft, vintage-creme colored background, this tee sports a black-and-white photo of Smart on his bike, as well as the year, race, make and model of the bike.
Soft and comfortable, made of 100% cotton, this sleek t-shirt is meant to be fitted after the first wash.
