That was the nickname given to Giuliano Maoggi for his look, his determination and his style of riding. Maoggi is seen on the front of this shirt with determination on his face and a cigarette between his teeth. The image was taken at the starting line of the Motogiro d'Italia in 1956, when Maoggi won 1st place on his Ducati Marianna 125cc.
